I wish this was my weekend off from work. I would love to attend either game, but would head to Clintwood due to not wanting to travel to Radford.

Best of luck to the Seniors in Life and whatever you choose to do in the future.
Always remember the Lessons you learn from Football, and always remember Its just a game.
I think this was one of those games you just didn't match up with them Anywhere, and maybe the field conditions kept them from putting more up on you than they did. You fought to the end, no shame in that.

Was really hoping to see the Greenwave in Salem next week. Boys in Green you had a great year! Now is time to pull for the Mustangs to bring the D1 Title back to SWVA and I hope we can bring back the D2 Title.
Not sure that the field conditions helped the game stay any 'closer'. If anything, I would say quite the opposite as I don't think I seen them struggle with footing the whole game. There was several times that players went down to avoid being hit, but it seemed like the bigger Clintwood boys had a hard time getting traction. But that being said, you have to play in whatever conditions you're in and the QB put the ball on the money over and over, and several times I don't think you could have had better coverage.
What we've got here is failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach, so you get what we had here last week which is the way he wants it. Well, he gets it.
We definately had problems with footing...and tackling! That QB was good and could put the ball on target. I have always thought that if you were a passing team that even if there were bad conditions, offense had the advantage. They know the routes and where to cut and you could see that when our defensive backs tried to cut with them. Their middle linebacker ..#56, was a beast. The game would have been the same...close..dry or wet conditions. We had our chances but this was a very good football game! Good job Mustangs and good luck!
very classy post SK, i agree
